Refund Policy

How FluxType Pro cancellations, refunds, renewals, statutory rights, and Polar payment processing work.

01

How billing works

FluxType Pro subscriptions are sold and billed by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), our payment provider and merchant of record. Polar is the seller shown on the transaction and handles payment processing, taxes, receipts, refunds, and payment disputes. FluxType supplies and supports the software subscription.

This policy should be read with the FluxType Terms of Service and the Polar terms shown during checkout. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable law take priority if they provide greater protection.

02

Cancellation is not the same as a refund

You may cancel FluxType Pro at any time through FluxType account settings or the Polar customer portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

Cancelling does not automatically refund the current monthly or annual billing period. Likewise, a refund does not necessarily cancel future subscription renewals. If you no longer want the subscription, confirm that it is cancelled in the customer portal even when a refund has been requested or issued.

03

When a refund may be available

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, subscription charges are generally non-refundable after the paid period begins. This includes unused time after cancellation and unused monthly allowances on an annual plan.

We or Polar may approve a full or partial refund when required by law, when a paid subscription was not delivered, when a verified billing error occurred, or when the circumstances otherwise justify a refund. Requesting a refund does not guarantee approval.

Polar may issue a refund when it reasonably suspects fraud, payment error, or a likely chargeback, or when its buyer terms, payment-network rules, or applicable law require it. Polar may make that decision even when FluxType would not otherwise offer a voluntary refund.

04

Statutory withdrawal and consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Consumers in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom may have a statutory withdrawal right for an online purchase, subject to the rules that apply to digital services and to any valid request for performance to begin during the withdrawal period.

If you believe a statutory right applies, contact us promptly and identify your country of residence and purchase date. We will review the request with Polar under the law applicable to the transaction. Other countries or regions may provide additional cancellation, renewal, refund, or consumer-guarantee rights.

05

How to request help or a refund

Email support@fluxtype.app from the address used for the purchase. Include the purchase date, amount, billing interval, and a short explanation. Do not send full card numbers, passwords, API keys, audio, transcripts, or other sensitive content.

We aim to acknowledge billing requests within one business day. Complex requests may require additional information or review by Polar. Approved refunds are returned through Polar to the original payment method; bank processing times vary.

06

Payment disputes and chargebacks

Please contact support before filing a payment dispute so we can investigate activation, cancellation, duplicate-charge, or service-delivery problems quickly. Contacting us does not remove or restrict any lawful right to dispute a charge with your payment provider.

Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in suspension of the associated account. Legitimate disputes and statutory complaints will be reviewed in good faith with Polar.
