Instant or not at all
Dictation must be as fast as thought. If it takes longer than pressing a key and speaking, it's broken. Every millisecond of UI friction we remove is a thought you keep.
Local by default
Free local dictation runs Whisper on your machine. Audio and transcription stay on the device for that local path; cloud transcription, hosted AI, and BYOK features are separate choices.
Fits your Windows workflow
We insert text into standard Windows text fields in the apps where you work. No plugins, no extensions, or special integrations are required for the supported workflow.
Free forever, honestly
The free plan is not a trial. Local dictation has no usage caps and includes a built-in Output Styles preview for free accounts. Pro exists for people who want optional cloud or BYOK models, a higher monthly hosted-AI allowance, broader model and language coverage, searchable history, and deeper customization.
