Introducing FluxType.

Voice-to-text on Windows has been a fragmented mess. We built the tool we wish existed.

For years, dictating into a Windows app meant picking your poison: a cloud service that uploaded every syllable you spoke, an accessibility tool that only worked in Microsoft apps, or a dedicated dictation suite that cost as much as a second monitor.

FluxType is different. It lives in your system tray. You press one hotkey, speak, release, and your words appear wherever your cursor is. No windows to manage. No mode-switching. No cloud dependency when you don't want one.

Local by default

Free plan ships with Whisper AI running entirely on your machine. Your audio never leaves your device. If you have no internet connection, it still works. If your employer's security team blocks AI traffic, it still works.

Pro when dictation becomes daily work

If you dictate every day, Pro adds the workflow layer: Whisper Large v3, 100 local Whisper languages, higher AI allowances, Custom Instructions, searchable history, exports, and optional BYOK providers. Free stays unlimited for local English dictation and includes a built-in AI modes preview; Pro is for turning speech into finished writing at daily-work scale.

Universal by design

If an app accepts text input, FluxType works with it. Word, VS Code, Slack, Notion, a terminal prompt, a SQL editor, a game chat. No plugins. No browser extensions. No integration APIs.

Download it. Press your hotkey. Talk. See you in flow.
